"Expect things to go wrong and they never will"
If you set your expectations to make no mistakes, you will make vastly fewer.
You will prepare for mistakes and thus mitigate your susceptibility to them.
That requires you to accept that life isn't going to be perfect for you.
Things will go wrong.
Plan for the worst, and you'll often come out the best.
And those who don't will be found by the wayside.
Do as F22 pilots: There can be no plan thought through in advance.
The stakes are often too high in life to ignore such contingencies.
